Instructions
- Plug in glue gun.
- Punch twenty 1" circles out of cardstock or patterned paper. (Note: color doesn't matter, as they will not be seen once pumpkin is completed.)
- Trim cardstock or patterned paper (for pumpkin) to the following: (2 pieces) - 1 1/2" x 12", (3) - 2 3/4" x 12", (3) - 3" x 12", (12) - 3 1/4" x 12", (3) - 3 1/2" x 12", (3) - 2 1/2" x 12", and (2) - 1 3/4" x 12".
- Ink edges of cardstock if desired.
- Starting with the three 3 1/2" x 12" pieces score at the 1/2" marks, adhere ends together either with a tape runner or staples, and create a rosette. (Rosette How-To Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oort4Bw0CcY) This will be the center rosette in the pumpkin.
- Continue making rosettes, using the following pieces to create rosettes, scoring at the 1/2" marks: (2 pieces) - 1 1/2" x 12", (3) - 2 3/4" x 12", (3) - 3" x 12", (3) - 3 1/4" x 12", (3) - 3 1/4" x 12", (3) - 3 1/4" x 12", (3) - 3 1/4" x 12", (3) - 2 1/2" x 12", and (2) - 1 3/4" x 12". A total of 10 rosettes will be made. (Note: Number of rosettes can be changed to alter the look of the pumpkin.)
- Adhere rosettes together to create a pumpkin, using glue gun or glue dots.
- To create the stem, cut three 1 1/2" x 3" strips of brown paper or cardstock using the fringe scissors.
