Instructions

Cut flowers of varying sizes out of patterned paper and set aside.

Left Page:

  1. Trim patterned paper to fit page, distress and ink edges.
  2. Rip the patterned paper and ink ripped edges. Fold over the rips and adhere using Glue Dots.
  3. Use a Quickstick to add pearls on folds.
  4. Cut small pieces of patterned paper, distress and ink edges, and adhere to the back of the folds so that the pattern shows through and the edges match up.
  5. Distress edges of paper so that there is an indentation on two sides.
  6. Wrap string around patterned paper and tie in a knot.
  7. Adhere small stamp punch to corner, fold the corner up and secure using the Tiny Attacher.  Adhere entire piece to envelope.
  8. Cut three triangles from patterned paper and attach to string using mini clothes pins.
  9. Use patterned punch behind the clothes pins.
  10. Use some of the flowers to add to the corner of page.  They can be layered using pop dots.  Use a Quickstick and gems to finish them off.
  11. Creat 5 folds in white ribbon and secure using tiny attacher.  Adhere to page with glue dots.
  12. Cut out two fairies and use glue dots to attach them to the ribbon.

Right Page:

  1. Cut patterned paper to fit page, distress and ink edges.
  2. Tear paper and use Tiny Attacher to secure folds.  Use Quickstick to add pearls to folds.
  3. Distress and ink edges of photo and adhere to patterned paper.
  4. Cut small piece of patterned paper, distress and ink edges, and add to back of fold.
  5. Use Tiny Attacher to create folds in the ribbons.  The ribbon can be secured in one spot on the back of the patterned paper using glue dots.
  6. Adhere entire piece to envelope.
  7. Layer the cut flowers using adhesive and pop dots and add pearls to the center.
  8. Select a tag for the title and use brown pen to journal on a small piece of patterned paper.

The yellow swirl and blue border were made using Tim Holtz die-cuts and secured using a tape runner.
