Materials needed:

  • 3½” x 8¾” pool text or cover weight paper—Yours Truly (two per 8½” x 11” sheet)
  • 4” x 9¼” chocolate cover weight paper—Yours Truly (two per 8½” x 11” sheet)
  • Teal and brown sheer ribbon (5/8” width)
  • Dry adhesive, such as a tape runner

Suggested tools:

  • ¼” hole punch
  • Paper trimmer
  • Scissors
  • Ruler
  • Pencil

Instructions:

  1. Begin with a vertical (portrait) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Create two columns and adjust the margins to match the dimensions above. Type and format text, centered in each column.
  2. Print text on pool paper and trim on all sides to create two 3½” x 8¾” pieces.
  3. Adhere to chocolate paper.
  4. Punch two holes at the top and thread ribbon as shown. Trim ends in an angle to desired length.
