Materials needed:
- 4½” x 6½” opal text or cover weight paper—Yours Truly (two per 8½”x 11” sheet)
- A7 antique gold flat note—Yours Truly
- 12”x 12” column vellum—The Paper Company (one per invitation)
- 20” gold sheer ribbon (2” width)
- 10” gold curly glitter ribbon (¼” width)
- Dry adhesive, such as a tape runner
Suggested tools:
- Paper trimmer
- Scissors
- Scoring tool or bone folder
- Pencil
- Ruler
Instructions:
- Begin with a horizontal (landscape) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Create two columns and adjust the margins to match the dimensions above. Type and format text, centered in each column.
- Print text on opal paper and trim on all sides to create two 4½” x 6½” pieces.
- Adhere opal paper to flat note.
- Cut vellum, following cutting guide*, making sure stripes run vertical. Fold vellum around invitation, using a bone folder or scoring tool to create a crisp edge.
- Wrap ribbon around invitation and tie in knot. Trim ends at an angle to desired length.
- Tie curly ribbon around knot of sheer ribbon and trim to desired length.
