Materials needed:
- 7" x 10" pearl ivory patterned paper—Masterpiece Studios (one per 12" x 12" sheet)
- 7" x 10¼" opal text or cover weight paper—Yours Truly (one per 8½" x 11" sheet)
- Black StazOn ink
- Cream sheer satin-edge ribbon (1½" width)
- Dry adhesive, such as a tape runner
Suggested tools:
- Inspiration Alphabet Uppercase clear stamp set—Stampendous
- Clear acrylic block or stamp press (to use with clear stamp)
- Paper trimmer
- Scoring tool
- Bone folder
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Ruler
Instructions:
- Begin with a horizontal (landscape) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Adjust the margins to ½" on the top and bottom, and ¼" on both sides. Type and format text, centered in the space, leaving room for the stamp. Print text on luxe white paper and trim on all sides to create two 4½" x 6½" pieces.
- Print text on opal paper and trim on all sides to create one 7" x 10¼" piece.
- Stamp ampersand on opal paper as shown.
- Adhere opal paper and pearl ivory patterned paper back-to-back (correct sides on the outside). Since the pearl ivory patterned paper is slightly smaller, there will be a thin opal border on one end.
- Score paper at the 2½" and 7½" inch marks using a scoring tool.
- Fold flaps in, using a bone folder to create a crisp edge. Position the flap with the thin opal border on the top,
- as shown.
- Wrap ribbon around closed invitation and tie in knot. Trim ends at an angle to desired length.
