Instructions:
- Begin with a horizontal (landscape) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Adjust margins to ½” on the sides and ¾” on the top and bottom. Create two columns. You will be able to fit two invitations worth of text in each column, one at the top and one at the bottom. Type and format text, leaving ½” space at the bottom and room for embellishment at the top.
- Print text on white paper and trim on all sides to create four 3½” x 5” pieces.
- Adhere white invitation text to large antique gold paper.
- Size photo to 2¾” x 4¾”. Adhere to small antique gold paper.
- Position black paper horizontally (8½” edge at the top) and, using scoring tool, score vertically at the 1” and 5¼” marks. Fold on scored lines, using a bone folder to create a crisp edge. Rotate card. You will end up with a card with a 1” flap on the inside, creating a pocket.
- Adhere invitation text inside card, with bottom edge slightly inside pocket.
- Punch two holes through inner pocket as shown.
- Wrap ribbon through holes and tie in knot. Trim ends at an angle to desired length.
- Adhere photo to outer flap of card, as shown.
