Materials needed:
- 2½” x 7” silver cover weight paper—Yours Truly (four per 8½” x 11” sheet)
- 4½” x 6½” white cover weight paper (2)—Yours Truly (two per 8½” x 11” sheet)
- Sapphire pocket invitation—Yours Truly
- VersaMark ink
- Pewter embossing powder
- Silver dots—Mark Richards
- Dry adhesive, such as a tape runner
Suggested tools:
- Jewish Greetings clear stamp set—Impression Obsession
- Clear acrylic block or stamp press (to use with clear stamp)
- Heat gun
- Paper trimmer
- Pencil
- Ruler
- Craft knife (optional)
Instructions:
- Begin with a horizontal (landscape) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Adjust margins to 1” on all sides. Create two columns. Type and format main invitation text in one column, leaving room for stamp. Type and format additional enclosure text in other column.
- Print text on white paper and trim on all sides to create two 4½” x 6½” pieces.
- Stamp image in bottom right corner of invitation text piece. Sprinkle with embossing powder, tapping off excess. Heat with heat gun until image appears shiny and raised.
- Adhere invitation text piece to inside of pocket invitation.
- Insert additional enclosure text inside pocket.
- Trace outer flap on silver paper. Trim approximately 1/8” outside of traced line and adhere to flap, leaving a thin silver border, as shown.
- Add silver dots to inside pocket and outer flap as shown, using a craft knife to assist you, if necessary.
