Materials needed:
- 3” x 8½” opal text weight paper—Yours Truly (three per 8½” x 11” sheet)
- 3¼” x 8½” black text or cover weight paper—Yours Truly (three per 8½” x 11” sheet)
- #10 hinged antique gold paper—Yours Truly
- VersaMark ink
- Gold embossing powder
- Black sheer nylon ribbon (5/8” width)
- Dry adhesive, such as a tape runner
Suggested tools:
- Jewish Greetings clear stamp set—Impression Obsession
- Clear acrylic block or stamp press (to use with clear stamp)
- Heat gun
- Paper trimmer
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Ruler
Instructions:
- Begin with a horizontal (landscape) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Adjust margins to 1” on the sides. Create three columns. Type and format text in each column, leaving room for stamp.
- Print text on opal paper and trim on all sides to create three 3” x 8½” pieces.
- Stamp image on opal paper. Sprinkle with embossing powder, tapping off excess. Heat with heat gun until image appears shiny and raised.
- Adhere opal paper to black paper.
- Adhere black paper to #10 hinged antique gold paper.
- Fold flap over invitation and weave ribbon through holes, as shown. Trim ends at an angle to desired length.
