Materials needed:

  • 3” x 8½” opal text weight paper—Yours Truly (three per 8½” x 11” sheet)
  • 3¼” x 8½” black text or cover weight paper—Yours Truly (three per 8½” x 11” sheet)
  • #10 hinged antique gold paper—Yours Truly
  • VersaMark ink
  • Gold embossing powder
  • Black sheer nylon ribbon (5/8” width)
  • Dry adhesive, such as a tape runner

Suggested tools:

  • Jewish Greetings clear stamp set—Impression Obsession
  • Clear acrylic block or stamp press (to use with clear stamp)
  • Heat gun
  • Paper trimmer
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Ruler

Instructions:

  1. Begin with a horizontal (landscape) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Adjust margins to 1” on the sides. Create three columns. Type and format text in each column, leaving room for stamp.
  2. Print text on opal paper and trim on all sides to create three 3” x 8½” pieces.
  3. Stamp image on opal paper. Sprinkle with embossing powder, tapping off excess. Heat with heat gun until image appears shiny and raised.
  4. Adhere opal paper to black paper.
  5. Adhere black paper to #10 hinged antique gold paper.
  6. Fold flap over invitation and weave ribbon through holes, as shown. Trim ends at an angle to desired length.
