Materials needed:

  • ½”x4” bandwidth patterned paper—Cosmo Cricket Cogsmo collection (72 per 12”x12” sheet)
  • 1”x1” bandwidth patterned paper— Cosmo Cricket Cogsmo collection (144 per 12”x12” sheet)
  • 2 1/8” x 2 1/8” white text or cover weight paper (3)—Yours Truly (20 per 8½” x 11” sheet)
  • 4” x 9¼” pool cover weight paper—Yours Truly (two per 8½” x 11” sheet)
  • White satin ribbon (3/8” width)
  • Dry adhesive, such as a tape runner

Suggested tools:

  • ¼” hole punch
  • 1 1/8” circle punch
  • Paper trimmer
  • Pencil
  • Ruler
  • Scissors

Instructions:

  1. Begin with a horizontal (landscape) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Adjust margins to ¾” on the sides and ¼” on the top and bottom. You will be able to fit two invitations worth of text in the space, one at the top and one at the bottom. Type and format text, leaving room for photos.
  2. Print text on pool paper and trim on all sides to create two 4” x 9¼” pieces.
  3. Size three photos to 2” square.
  4. Adhere photos to white paper, then adhere to invitation, above text.
  5. Adhere strip of patterned paper to right side of invitation.
  6. Punch circle from patterned paper and adhere to left edge of invitation, folding circle over edge as shown.
  7. Punch hole on left side of invitation. Thread ribbon through hole and tie in knot. Trim ends to desired length.
