Materials needed:
- 4½” x 6½” silver text or cover weight paper—Yours Truly (two per 8½” x 11” sheet)
- A7 black flat note—Yours Truly
- 12” x 12” shimmer black paisley patterned paper—The Paper Company (one per invitation)
- Silver flourish filigree accents—The Paper Company
- Silver sheer ribbon (2” width)
- Dry adhesive, such as a tape runner
Suggested tools:
- Paper trimmer
- Scissors
- Scoring tool
- Bone folder
- Pencil
- Ruler
Instructions:
- Begin with a horizontal (landscape) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Adjust margins to 1” on all sides and create two columns. Type and format text, centered in each column.
- Print text on silver paper and trim on all sides to create two 4½” x 6½” pieces.
- Adhere silver paper to black flat note.
- Cut patterned paper, following cutting guide*. Score patterned paper with a scoring tool and fold around invitation, using a bone folder to create a crisp edge.
- Wrap silver sheer ribbon around invitation and tie in knot. Trim ends at an angle to desired length.
- Add flourish filigree accent, as shown.
