Materials needed:

  • 3½” x 4 7/8” clear vellum (four per 8½” x 11” sheet)
  • 4-bar flat note (any color)—Yours Truly
  • Silver eyelet—Making Memories
  • Dry adhesive, such as a tape runner

Suggested tools:

  • Crop-A-Dile—We R Memory Keepers
  • Paper trimmer
  • Pencil
  • Ruler

Instructions:

  1. Begin with a horizontal (landscape) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Adjust margins to ½” on the sides and ¾” on the top and bottom. Create two columns. You will be able to fit two save-the-date cards worth of text in each column, one at the top and one at the bottom. Type and format text.
  2. Change printer settings to print on vellum (consult your printer’s manual). Print text on vellum and trim on all sides to create four 3½” x 4 7/8” pieces.
  3. Size photo to 3½” x 4 7/8”. Adhere to 4-bar flat note.
  4. Layer vellum on photo flat note. Using Crop-A-Dile, punch a hole in the center of both layers, near the top.
  5. Insert eyelet in hole and use Crop-A-Dile to set.
