Materials needed:
- 2¼” x 2¾” strawberry cover weight paper—Yours Truly (eight per 8½” x 11” sheet)
- 4-bar strawberry flat note—Yours Truly
- 8½” x 11” black cover weight paper—Yours Truly
- Charcoal ink—Colorbox
- Black StazOn ink
- Black Zig Writer pen
- Dry adhesive, such as a tape runner
Suggested tools:
- Small envelope die-cut—free to use in Archiver’s workroom!
- 12” x 12” Pollen Dust clear stamp set—Fancy Pants
- Clear acrylic blocks or stamp press (for use with clear stamps)
- Paper trimmer
- Pencil
- Ruler
Instructions:
- Begin with a vertical (portrait) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Create two columns. You will be able to fit four save-the-date cards worth of text in each column. Type and format text.
- Print text on strawberry cover weight paper and trim on all sides to create eight 2¼” x 2¾” pieces.
- Die-cut small envelope out of black paper, using our free workroom die-cut.
- Stamp image on both sides of strawberry flat note as shown.
- Ink edges of strawberry printed paper and strawberry flat note with charcoal ink.
- Place small printed strawberry paper inside envelope and close.
- Adhere envelope to one side of strawberry flat note.
- Write address on other side of strawberry flat note, creating a postcard.
