Materials needed:

  • 3¼” x 4½” white text or cover weight paper—Yours Truly (four per 8½” x 11” sheet)
  • 4-bar black flat note—Yours Truly
  • A2 antique gold flat note—Yours Truly
  • Black StazOn ink
  • Bronze sheer nylon ribbon (5/8” width)
  • Dry adhesive, such as a tape runner

Suggested tools:

  • Simply Safari clear stamp set—Stampendous
  • Clear acrylic block or stamp press (to use with clear stamp)
  • 1/8” hole punch
  • Paper trimmer
  • Pencil
  • Ruler
  • Scissors

Instructions:

  1. Begin with a vertical (portrait) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Adjust margins to 1” on all sides and create two columns. You will be able to fit two invitations worth of text in each column, one at the top and one at the bottom. Type and format text, leaving room for ribbon.
  2. Print text on white paper and trim on all sides to create four 3¼” x 4½” pieces.
  3. Adhere white paper to black flat note.
  4. Stamp image on antique gold flat note.
  5. Adhere black flat note to antique gold flat note.
  6. Punch two holes near top of invitation. Thread ribbon through holes and trim ends in a “v” to desired length, as shown.
