Materials needed:
- 2¼" x 4¼" opal text or cover weight paper—Yours Truly (eight per 8½" x 11" sheet)
- 4½" x 5¼" circle patterned paper—Reminisce (four per 12" x 12" sheet)
- Blank Flower rub-on—Reminisce
- Flower—Prima
- Pearls
- Dry adhesive, such as a tape runner
Suggested tools:
- Scoring tool
- Bone folder
- Paper trimmer
- Pencil
- Ruler
- Craft knife (optional)
Instructions:
- Begin with a vertical (portrait) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Create two columns. You will be able to fit four place cards worth of text in each column. Type and format text, leaving room for embellishment.
- Print text on opal paper and trim on all sides to create eight 2¼" x 4¼" pieces.
- Score patterned paper in half using a scoring tool. Fold, using a bone folder to create a crisp edge.
- Adhere opal paper to front of place card.
- Apply rub-on on the left side of opal paper, as shown.
- Add flower and pearl as shown, using a craft knife to assist you, if necessary.
