Materials needed:
- ½” x 4¾” unity patterned paper—Reminisce (48 per 12” x 12” sheet)
- 4¾” x 4¾” cherry blossoms patterned paper—Reminisce (four per 12” x 12” sheet)
- 8½” x 9½” soft white cover weight paper—Yours Truly (one per 8½” x 11” sheet)
- Rub-on—Reminisce
- Flower—Prima
- Pearls
- Dry adhesive, such as a tape runner
Suggested tools:
- Scoring tool
- Bone folder
- Paper trimmer
- Pencil
- Ruler
- Craft knife (optional)
Instructions:
- Begin with a horizontal (landscape) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Adjust margins to ¾” on both sides. Create two columns. Type and format inside program text, one panel in each column.
- Do a test print to ensure proper placement. Once ready, print text on soft white paper.
- Create another horizontal (landscape) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Adjust margins to match previous document. Type and format program text on upper right side of document.
- Flip soft white paper over and feed through your printer again to print cover on opposite side of inside text. (Consult your printer’s manual if you are unsure.) We strongly recommend you do a test print to ensure proper placement.*
- Trim soft white paper on sides to create an 8½” x 9½” piece.
- Score soft white paper in half vertically using a scoring tool. Fold, using a bone folder to create a crisp edge.
- Adhere cherry blossoms patterned paper to bottom of program cover.
- Adhere strip of unity patterned paper on top of cherry blossoms patterned paper, as shown.
- Apply rub-on as shown.
- Add flower and pearl, using a craft knife to assist you, if necessary.
*If your printer has the ability to print double-sided pages, this process may be different for you.
