Materials needed:
- 3½” x 8½” opal text weight paper (3)—Yours Truly (three per 8½” x 11” sheet)
- 8½” x 11” opal cover weight paper—Yours Truly (one per 8½” x 11” sheet)
- Cream sheer ribbon (5/8” width)
- Dry adhesive, such as a tape runner
Suggested tools:
- Scoring tool
- Bone folder
- Paper trimmer
- Pencil
- Ruler
- Scissors
Instructions:
- Begin with a horizontal (landscape) letter-sized document in word-processing program. Create your design or
- text near the right edge of document.
- Do a test print to ensure proper placement of design. Once ready, print on opal cover weight paper.
- Score opal cover weight paper twice to create three equally sized panels. Fold, using a bone folder to create a
- crisp edge.
- Create another horizontal (landscape) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Create three columns. Type and format text for inside panels in columns.
- Print inside panel text on opal text weight paper and trim to create three 3½” x 8½” pieces.
- Adhere text to inside of invitation, one on each panel.
- Wrap ribbon around closed invitation and tie in knot. Trim ends at an angle to desired length.
