Instructions:
- Begin with a horizontal (landscape) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Create three columns. Type and format text for the left side of program.
- Print text for left side of program on opal paper and trim on all sides to create three 3½” x 8½” pieces.
- Set up another horizontal (landscape) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Create three columns to match previous document. Type and format text for the right side of program.
- Print text for right side of program on opal paper and trim on all sides to create three 3½” x 8½” pieces.
- Score 8½” x 11” opal cover weight paper vertically in half, using a scoring tool.
- Adhere text inside program, one on each panel.
- Create belly band design. We recommend creating a horizontal letter-sized document in a word-processing program and setting margins to 1” on the top and bottom. You should be able to fit two designs in the space, one centered at the top and one centered at the bottom.
- Print design on opal text weight paper. Remove blade from rotary trimmer and replace with scallop blade. Trim opal text weight paper to create two 3” x 11” pieces, with scallops on both edges.
- Fold band around closed invitation, using a bone folder to create a crisp fold. Adhere in back.
- Add pearls as shown, using a craft knife to assist you, if necessary.
