Materials needed:
- 3½" x 8½" opal text or cover weight paper—Yours Truly (two per 8½" x 11" sheet)
- 4" x 10½" arctic gold text or cover weight paper—Yours Truly (two per 8½" x 11" sheet)
- Gold sheer ribbon (5/8" width)
- Dry adhesive, such as a tape runner
Suggested tools:
- 1/8" hole punch
- Scoring tool
- Bone folder
- Paper trimmer
- Pencil
- Ruler
- Scissors
Instructions:
- Begin with a vertical (portrait) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Adjust margins to 1¼" on the top and bottom, and ¾" on each side. Create two columns. Type and format text.
- Print text on opal paper and trim on all sides to create two 3½" x 8½" pieces.
- Score arctic gold paper 1" from the top using a scoring tool.
- Adhere opal paper to bottom of arctic gold paper, leaving a thin border, as shown.
- Fold arctic gold flap over opal paper.
- Using hole punch, punch two holes at top of invitation.
- Thread ribbon through holes as shown. Trim ends at an angle to desired length.
