Materials needed:
- 1½" x 5" roses vellum—The Paper Company (10 per 8½" x 11" sheet)
- 3½" x 8½" opal text or cover weight paper—Yours Truly (two per 8½" x 11" sheet)
- 3¾" x 8¾" quartz cover weight paper—Yours Truly (two per 8½" x 11" sheet)
- Pearls
- Dry adhesive, such as a tape runner
Suggested tools:
- Rotary trimmer—Fiskars
- Scallop rotary blade—Fiskars
- Pencil
- Ruler
- Craft knife (optional)
Instructions:
- Begin with a vertical (portrait) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Adjust margins to 1¼" on the top and bottom, and ¾" on each side. Create two columns. Type and format text.
- Print text on opal paper and trim on all sides to create two 3½" x 8½" pieces.
- Replace rotary trimmer blade with scallop blade. Cut scallop along one edge of vellum.
- Position vellum at top of opal paper as shown. Wrap ends around back and adhere.
- Adhere opal paper to quartz paper.
- Add pearls as shown, using a craft knife to assist you, if necessary.
