Materials needed:
- 4¾” x 6¾” soft white text or cover weight paper—Yours Truly (two per 8½” x 11” sheet)
- A7 pool flat note—Yours Truly
- Magenta ink—Colorbox
- Charcoal ink—Colorbox
- Clear embossing powder
- Dry adhesive, such as a tape runner
Suggested tools:
- 12” x 12” Pollen Dust clear stamp set—Fancy Pants
- Clear acrylic block or stamp press (to use with clear stamp)
- Heat gun
- Paper trimmer
- Pencil
- Ruler
Instructions:
- Begin with a vertical (portrait) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Adjust margins to ¾” on the sides and 1” on the top and bottom. You will be able to fit two invitations worth of text in the space, one at the top and one at the bottom. Type and format text.
- Print text on white paper and trim on all sides to create 4¾” x 6¾” pieces.
- Ink edges of white paper using charcoal ink.
- Stamp image on both edges of white paper using magenta ink. Sprinkle with embossing powder, tapping off excess. Heat with heat gun until image appears shiny and raised.
- Adhere white paper to pool flat note.
