Materials needed:
- 1½” x 4” pearl ivory patterned paper—Masterpiece Studios (24 per 12” x 12” sheet)
- 1 5/8” x 4 1/8” sage cover weight paper—Yours Truly (10 per 8½” x 11” sheet)
- 4 7/8” x 5” luxe white text weight paper—Yours Truly (two per 8½” x 11” sheet)
- 5 1/8” x 5¼” sage text weight paper—Yours Truly (two per 8½” x 11” sheet)
- 5¼” x 11” luxe white cover weight paper—Yours Truly (one per 8½” x 11” sheet)
- Sage ink—VersaMagic
- Citron gemstones
- Dry adhesive, such as a tape runner
Suggested tools:
- Friendship Messages clear stamp set—Hero Arts
- Clear acrylic block or stamp press (to use with clear stamp)
- Scoring tool
- Bone folder
- Paper trimmer
- Pencil
- Ruler
- Craft knife (optional)
Instructions:
- Begin with a vertical (portrait) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Adjust margins to ½" on the top and bottom, and 1¾" on the sides. You will be able to fit two invitations worth of text in the space, one at the top and one at the bottom. Type and format text, leaving space for the stamp.
- Print text on luxe white text weight paper and trim on all sides to create two 4 7/8" x 5" pieces.
- Stamp image on luxe white text paper as shown.
- Adhere luxe white text paper to sage text weight paper.
- Score luxe white cover weight paper at the 2¾” and 8¼” inch marks. Fold flaps in, using a bone folder to create a crisp edge.
- Adhere sage text weight paper to middle panel as shown.
- Adhere pearl ivory patterned paper to small sage cover weight paper. Adhere right side to right flap of invitation as shown.
- Add gemstones to inside and outside of invitation as shown, using a craft knife to assist you, if necessary.
