Materials needed:
- 1” x 6¾” black scallop cardstock—Bazzill Basics (four per 12” x 12” sheet)
- 3” x 6¾” glitter stripe patterned paper—Die Cuts With A View (four per 12” x 12” sheet)
- 7” x 11” quartz cover weight paper—Yours Truly (one per 8½” x 11” sheet)
- Graduation hat embellishment—Jolee’s Boutique by EK Success
- Graduation Cards Sentimental Rubz rub-ons—My Sentiments Exactly
- Clear Stardust pen—Sakura
- Wonder Tape—Product Performers
- Dry adhesive, such as a tape runner
Suggested tools:
- Scoring tool
- Bone folder
- Paper trimmer
- Pencil
- Ruler
Instructions:
- Position quartz paper horizontally (11” edge at the top) and, using a scoring tool, score vertically at the 1” and 6” marks. Fold on scored lines, using a bone folder to create a crisp edge. Rotate card. You will end up with a 5” x 7” horizontal folded card with a 1” flap on the inside.
- Use Wonder Tape to adhere the edges only of inside flap, creating a pocket.
- Cut scallops off a piece of scalloped cardstock.
- Adhere glitter stripe patterned paper on top of scallop so only a small portion of the scallop is visible, as shown. Adhere to front of folded card, near the top edge.
- Use Stardust pen to dot scallop.
- Add rub-on sentiment and embellishment to front of card, as shown.
- Add rub-on sentiment to inside of card, above pocket.
- Slide gift card or money inside inner card pocket.
