Materials needed:
- 3¾" x 9¼" luxe cream text or cover weight paper—Yours Truly (two per 8½" x 11" sheet)
- 4" x 11" antique gold cover weight paper—Yours Truly (two per 8½" x 11" sheet)
- Gold sheer ribbon (2" width)
- Dry adhesive, such as a tape runner
Suggested tools:
- Scoring tool
- Bone folder
- Paper trimmer
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Ruler
Instructions:
- Begin with a vertical (portrait) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Create two columns and adjust the margins to match the dimensions above. Type and format text, centered in each column.
- Print text on luxe cream paper and trim on all sides to create two 3¾" x 9¼" pieces.
- Score antique gold paper 1½" from the top using a scoring tool.
- Adhere cream paper to the bottom of antique gold paper, leaving a thin border, as shown.
- Fold antique gold paper over luxe cream paper, as shown, using a bone folder to create a crisp edge.
- Wrap ribbon around top of invitation and tie in knot. Trim ends at an angle to desired length.
