Materials needed:

  • 4½” x 6½” quartz text or cover weight paper—Yours Truly (two per 8½” x 11” sheet)
  • A7 silver scallop flat note—Yours Truly
  • Cyan ink—ColorBox
  • Clear embossing powder
  • Dry adhesive, such as a tape runner

Suggested tools:

  1. Jewish Greetings clear stamp set—Impression Obsession
  2. Clear acrylic block or stamp press (to use with clear stamp)
  3. Heat gun
  4. 1/16” hole punch
  5. Paper trimmer
  6. Pencil
  7. Ruler

Instructions:

  1. Begin with a horizontal (landscape) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Adjust margins to 1” on all sides. Create two columns. Type and format text in each column, leaving space for stamp.
  2. Print paper on quartz paper and trim on all sides to create two 4½” x 6½” pieces.
  3. Stamp image on quartz paper as shown. Sprinkle with embossing powder, tapping off excess. Heat with heat gun until image appears shiny and raised.
  4. Adhere quartz paper to silver flat scallop note.
  5. Punch holes in each scallop, as shown.
