Materials needed:
- 3” x 7¾” opal text weight paper—Yours Truly (three per 8½” x 11” sheet)
- 3½” x 8¼” gold text or cover weight paper—Yours Truly (three per 8½” x 11” sheet)
- 8½” x 11” shimmer gold swirl patterned paper—The Paper Company (one per 12” x 12” sheet)
- Gold cross filigree accent—The Paper Company
- Gold sheer twinkle ribbon (2” width)
- Cream sheer ribbon (5/8” width)
- Dry adhesive, such as a tape runner
Suggested tools:
- Scoring tool
- Bone folder
- Paper trimmer
- Pencil
- Ruler
- Scissors
Instructions:
- Begin with a horizontal (landscape) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Adjust margins to ¼” on the top and bottom and 1” on the sides. Create three columns. Type and format text in each column, leaving room for embellishment.
- Print text on opal paper and trim on all sides to create three 3” x 7¾” pieces.
- Adhere opal paper to gold paper.
- Use scoring tool to score patterned paper twice, creating three equally sized sections.
- Adhere gold paper to middle section of invitation.
- Add gold cross accent, as shown.
- Wrap gold and cream ribbons around closed invitation and tie in knot. Trim ends at an angle to desired length.
