Materials needed:
- 1¾” x 9” black text or cover weight paper—Yours Truly (four per 8½” x 11” sheet)
- 3” x 7¾” silver text weight paper—Yours Truly (three per 8½” x 11” sheet)
- 3½” x 8¼” black text or cover weight paper—Yours Truly (three per 8½” x 11” sheet)
- 8½” x 11” shimmer black swirl patterned paper—The Paper Company (one per 12” x 12” sheet)
- Silver and black sticker—The Paper Company
- Black StazOn ink
- Dry adhesive, such as a tape runner
Suggested tools:
- Wedding Corners clear stamp set—Stampendous
- Monogram Alphabet clear stamp set—Hero Arts
- Clear acrylic block or stamp press (to use with clear stamp)
- Scoring tool
- Bone folder
- Paper trimmer
- Pencil
- Ruler
Instructions:
- Begin with a horizontal (landscape) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Adjust margins to ¼” on the top and bottom and 1” on each side. Create three columns. Type and format text in each column.
- Print text on silver paper and trim on all sides to create three 3” x 7¾” pieces.
- Adhere silver paper to 3½” x 8¼” black paper.
- Use scoring tool to score patterned paper twice, creating three equally sized sections.
- Adhere black paper to middle section of invitation.
- Stamp images in corners of inside left and right panels of invitation, as shown.
- Stamp letter on silver sticker.
- Wrap 1¾” x 9” black paper around closed invitation, using a bone folder to create a crisp edge. Add sticker where ends overlap, creating a band.
