Materials needed:
- Small pieces (approximately 2” x 2”) of various colored cardstock—Bazzill Basics (approximately 20 per 8½” x 11” sheet)
- A2 pool flat note—Yours Truly
- A7 red flat note—Yours Truly
- Charcoal ink—Colorbox
- Black StazOn ink
- Black Zig Writer
- White Soufflé pen
- Mini Pop Dots
- Dry adhesive, such as a tape runner
Suggested tools:
- Sizzlet caterpillar die—Sizzix
- Big Shot or Sidekick die-cutting machine—Sizzix
- You’re Invited wood-mount stamp—Rubber Soul
- Party Details wood-mount stamp—Rubber Soul
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Ruler
Instructions:
- Size photo to 2¼” x 3¾”. Adhere to top of pool flat note.
- Stamp party details on pool note, below photo.
- Stamp sentiment on top of red flat note.
- Adhere pool note to red note.
- Using die-cut machine, die-cut caterpillar from different colors of cardstock. Assemble caterpillar so that each section is a different color, as shown.
- Draw details on caterpillar with white Soufflé pen and black pen as shown.
- Adhere caterpillar to bottom right corner of invitation. Use Mini Pop Dots to adhere caterpillar’s head.
- Ink edges of invitation.
