Materials needed:
- 1½” x 7” red text or cover weight paper—Yours Truly (seven per 8½” x 11 sheet)
- 3½” x 7” white text or cover weight paper—Yours Truly (three per 8½” x 11 sheet)
- A7 black flat note—Yours Truly
- Dry adhesive, such as a tape runner
Suggested tools:
- Rotary scallop blade—Fiskars
- Rotary paper trimmer—Fiskars
- 1 /16” hole punch
- Pencil
- Ruler
Instructions:
- Begin with a horizontal (landscape) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Create three columns, adjusting margins to match dimensions above. Type and format text, leaving room at the top and bottom.
- Print text on white paper and trim on all sides to create three 3½” x 7” pieces.
- Adhere white paper to center of flat note.
- Switch blade on rotary trimmer to scallop blade. Cut along long edge of red paper.
- Use hole punch to punch small holes in red scallop strip as shown.
- Cut red scallop strip in half and adhere to white paper, one piece at the top and one at the bottom.
