Materials needed:

  • 4” x 12” black cardstock (three per 12”x 12” sheet)
  • 4½” x 6½” quartz text or cover weight paper—Yours Truly (two per 8½”x 11” sheet)
  • A7 silver flat note—Yours Truly
  • Dry adhesive, such as a tape runner
  • Silver embossing powder
  • VersaMark ink
  • Clear gemstones

Suggested tools:

  • Scribbles Alphabet clear stamp set—Autumn Leaves
  • Clear acrylic block (to use with clear stamp)
  • Heat gun
  • Paper trimmer
  • Scissors
  • Scoring tool
  • Bone folder
  • Pencil
  • Ruler

Instructions:

  1. Begin with a horizontal (landscape) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Create two columns and adjust the margins to match the dimensions above. Type and format text, centered in each column.
  2. Print text on quartz paper and trim on all sides to create two 4½” x 6½” pieces.
  3. Adhere quartz paper to flat note.
  4. Stamp letter on black cardstock. Sprinkle with embossing powder, tapping off excess. Heat with heat gun until image appears shiny and raised.
  5. Add clear gemstone.
  6. Score cardstock with a scoring tool and fold around invitation, making sure the monogram is centered. Use a bone folder to create a crisp edge. Adhere in the back.
