Materials needed:
- 4” x 12” black cardstock (three per 12”x 12” sheet)
- 4½” x 6½” quartz text or cover weight paper—Yours Truly (two per 8½”x 11” sheet)
- A7 silver flat note—Yours Truly
- Dry adhesive, such as a tape runner
- Silver embossing powder
- VersaMark ink
- Clear gemstones
Suggested tools:
- Scribbles Alphabet clear stamp set—Autumn Leaves
- Clear acrylic block (to use with clear stamp)
- Heat gun
- Paper trimmer
- Scissors
- Scoring tool
- Bone folder
- Pencil
- Ruler
Instructions:
- Begin with a horizontal (landscape) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Create two columns and adjust the margins to match the dimensions above. Type and format text, centered in each column.
- Print text on quartz paper and trim on all sides to create two 4½” x 6½” pieces.
- Adhere quartz paper to flat note.
- Stamp letter on black cardstock. Sprinkle with embossing powder, tapping off excess. Heat with heat gun until image appears shiny and raised.
- Add clear gemstone.
- Score cardstock with a scoring tool and fold around invitation, making sure the monogram is centered. Use a bone folder to create a crisp edge. Adhere in the back.
