Materials needed:
- 5” x 5” sage text or cover weight paper—Yours Truly (two per 8½” x 11” sheet)
- 5½” x 5½” black cardstock—Bazzill Basics (two per 8½” x 11” sheet or four per 12” x 12” sheet)
- Ivory silk ribbon (½” width)
- Dry adhesive, such as a tape runner
Suggested tools:
- 1/8” hole punch
- Paper trimmer
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Ruler
Instructions:
- Begin with a vertical (portrait) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Adjust margins to 1¾” on the sides and ½” on the top and bottom. You will be able to fit two invitations worth of text in the space, one at the top and one at the bottom. Type and format text, leaving room for ribbon.
- Print text on sage paper and trim on all sides to create two 5” x 5” pieces.
- Adhere sage paper to black cardstock.
- Punch two holes near top of invitation. Thread ribbon through holes and tie in a bow. Trim ends at an angle to desired length.
