Materials needed:

  • 4” x 5¼” white text or cover weight paper—Yours Truly (two per 8½” x 11” sheet)
  • A2 bluebell flat note—Yours Truly
  • Baby blue ink—Colorbox
  • Clear embossing powder
  • Dry adhesive, such as a tape runner

Suggested tools:

  • Calligraphy Cross wood-mount stamp—Stampendous
  • Heat gun
  • Paper trimmer
  • Pencil
  • Ruler

Instructions:

  1. Begin with a vertical (portrait) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Adjust your margins to 1½” on all sides. Type and format text, leaving space for stamp. You will be able to fit two invitations worth of text in the space, one at the top and one at the bottom.
  2. Print text on white paper and trim on all sides to create two 4” x 5¼” pieces.
  3. Stamp image on white paper as shown. Sprinkle with embossing powder, tapping off excess. Heat with heat gun until image appears shiny and raised.
  4. Adhere white paper to flat note.
