Materials needed:

  • 1½” x 2” squares of various colored cardstock
  • 5” x 5” white text or cover weight paper—Yours Truly (two per 8½” x 11” sheet)
  • 5½” x 5½” blossom cover weight paper—Yours Truly (two per 8½” x 11” sheet)
  • Dry adhesive, such as a tape runner

Suggested tools:

  • Diesel die-cut font—QuicKutz
  • Revolution die-cutting machine—QuicKutz
  • Paper trimmer
  • Pencil
  • Ruler

Instructions:

  1. Begin with a vertical (portrait) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Adjust margins to 1¾” on the sides and ½” on the top and bottom. You will be able to fit two invitations worth of text in the space, one at the top and one at the bottom. Type and format text, leaving room for die-cut letters.
  2. Print text on white paper and trim on all sides to create two 5” x 5” pieces.
  3. Adhere white paper to blossom paper.
  4. Die-cut letters out of various colors of cardstock. Adhere to top of invitation as shown.
