Materials needed:
- 2½” x 4¼” bluebell text or cover weight paper—Yours Truly (eight per 8½” x 11” sheet)
- 4¾” x 6¾” white text or cover weight paper—Yours Truly (two per 8½” x 11” sheet)
- A7 bluebell gatefold card—Yours Truly
- White satin ribbon
- Dry adhesive, such as a tape runner
Suggested tools:
- Small corner rounder
- Paper trimmer
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Ruler
Instructions:
- Begin with a vertical (portrait) letter-sized document in a word-processing program. Adjust your margins to ¾” on all sides. Type and format text, leaving space for photo. You will be able to fit two invitations worth of text in the space, one at the top and one at the bottom.
- Print text on white paper and trim on all sides to create two 4¾” x 6¾” pieces.
- Size photo to 2¼” x 4”. Round corners using a corner rounder.
- Adhere photo to bluebell paper. Round corners using a corner rounder.
- Adhere bluebell paper to the right side of white paper as shown.
- Adhere white paper to center of gatefold card.
- Wrap ribbon around closed gatefold card. Tie in knot and trim ends to desired length.
