Archiver’s Color Copier
It may look just like any other copier, but the copier outside our workrooms is really a great archival quality, creative tool. The push of a button or two is all it takes to put this tool to work for you – helping you develop photo projects or album and scrapbook pages with ease and creativity.
Designed for copying photographs our color copier was selected specifically for archival quality. It makes the best quality photo reproductions you’ll find just about anywhere, and provides the look and feel of a real photograph. Put the original side-by-side with the copy and you’ll find it tough to pick the “fake”.
Our copier is pigment based with a dry toner – critical for photographs. We also researched and use only thick, archival quality paper (acid and lignin free). And finally the copier offers options for enlarging, reducing, converting to black and white and much more. Our color copier is a great way to:
- Make economical duplicates of photos: Instead of photo reprints for holiday cards or baby announcements, try color copies. Or place a number of photos on one page then copy for scrapbooking or other photo projects.
- Improve the quality of “iffy” photos: Have some of your color photos faded or changed color? Try making a black-and-white copy to improve the appearance of the photo.
- Preserve fragile photos or memorabilia: Is your father’s baptism certificate getting too fragile to handle? Make a color copy for your album and store the original in an archival box. Also, you may not want to permanently attach an original souvenir to your pages since it could be acidic and harm the photos on the page. Use a color copy instead.
- Protect your photos: Do your little kids love to thumb through your photos albums –leaving sticky fingerprints and bent corners in their wake? Make color copies of their favorite photos and/or pages for a kid-friendly album of their own. Or use only color copies for your albums and scrapbooks and keep the originals in archival boxes.
- Our color copier is a wonderful tool for your photo projects. Just remember that all copyright laws do apply!
