My supplies have just been sitting for months & I found today that many of my gel pens will not work. I tried rubbing alcohol & even pure acetone & nothings seems to get them going. Some are brand new & never used once. Help! Most were stored horizontally as I was advised by the store. Any tips? (no pun intended)

A trick that works pretty well is to hold the tip of the pen over a pot or kettle of boiling water for a couple minutes. That should break up the blockage and allow your pen to continue writing. Another odd trick, is to hold it in a cigarette lighter, like the one in your care. Just please, please, please be careful so you do not hurt yourself if you try this trick. Hope this helps!
