Hi Robin, I recently purchased a cling mounted stamp. I am having such a hard time getting the ink to adhere to the stamp. I am using a brand new dye ink stamp pad....the first few images were ok, but after that....the images were very, very light. I also tried using pigment ink and the result was worse. Can you please let me know what type of stamp pad ink I should be using with a cling mounted stamp? Thank you! Lucia

It shouldn't matter what type of ink you're using with any type of stamp. Really give the stamp some pressure when you're applying ink, either by pressing the stamp into the ink pad or by pressing the ink pad to the stamp. You should be able to see the ink on the stamp. When stamping the image, you can also give a bit of pressure to the stamp. However, you don't want to press too hard or you might end up with ink where it is not supposed to be. Some of our favorite inks to use include VersaFine black ink, Tim Holtz Distress inks, VersaColor inks, and Archival inks. Stop by your local Archiver's anytime and they'll be more than happy to help you out! Hope this helps!
