I'm starting to look at ideas for Christmas cards and I have a few questions about Vellum. Will the cricut cut it or is it too thin?? And, can you emboss on it or will it "melt" the vellum - again because it is too thin. Is there a specific ink/embossing powder you should use if it is able to be embossed? Thanks!

Vellum can be cut with the Cricut, however, we recommend testing your settings on some extra pieces of vellum so that it doesn't tear. Make sure your cutting mat is clean and your blade is very sharp (or new). Because vellum is so thin, it does tear easier, so play around with the settings to find what works best for you. You can emboss on vellum as well. VersaMark ink is one of our favorites for embossing, but any pigment ink should work just fine. There really is no right or wrong embossing powder to use. Hope this helps!
