I am scrapbooking a collage of newspaper articles. However these are xerox copies of newspaper articles. I would like to age them using distress ink. I also want to use modge podge to affix them on chipboard or card board (I want to show some dimmension/emphasis on certain articles.) Question: Will the distress ink run or be damaged if I put modge podge glue on it? How long will I have to wait for the ink to dr before I apply the mod podge glue? Thanks for our help here.

Distress Inks are water-based, so there is the potential for the ink to smear or bleed when you apply the Mod Podge. We recommend trying this out on a piece of scratch paper first. From what we've found, sometimes the ink will smear and sometimes it won't. Ink a piece of scratch paper, let it dry completely, and then apply the Mod Podge. Hope this helps!
