How do you make a graduation tassel out of floss?

The amount of floss you'll need depends on how large and how long you want your tassel to be. You can always trim the tassel shorter once you're done. Start by folding your piece of floss in half, creating a loop. Add a piece of floss or other string through the loop. This will be the piece you use to hang the tassel. Then take another piece of floss and wrap it around the loop tightly. A good adhesive, such as The Ultimate glue, works great for keeping everything in place. This glue dries clear, so you can cover the wrapped floss with a thin layer of glue and that should hold everything in place. Hope this helps!
