How to use alcohol inks on paper to make a water color look.
— Tabatha1, TX on Jun 11, 2011

To create a watercolor effect using alcohol inks, we recommend using glossy paper and the ink applicator with the foam pads. Alcohol inks spread really easily on glossy papers and can almost be painted on to the paper. You can also go over the alcohol inks to change your color scheme or add colors. You'll also want to use the blending solution so that the colors really blend together. The same technique can be used on cardstock or solid paper, but the colors might turn out a bit more bold than on the glossy paper. Hope this helps!
