I'm looking to get a die cutting and embossing machine do you think the Cuttlebug or the Big shoot would be better for a beginning scrapbooker and card maker? Or can you recommend something else?

There are a bunch of great die cutting machines out there, so it really ends up being a personal preference. Machines such as the Big Shot, Vagabond, and Cuttlebug require the use of dies, which can be purchased separately. The Cricut and eclips use cartridges that contain different images depending on which cartridge you're using. The Silhouette is similar to the Cricut and eclips, but connects to your computer and gives you almost limitless possibilities. Here's our die-cutting guide with more information: http://www.archiversonline.com/media/Guide_to_diecutting.pdf. Stop by your local Archiver's any time and they'll be more than happy to help you find the die cutting machine that's right for you! Hope this helps!
