I'm making a scrap book for my parents 40th wedding anniversary. I've never done a scrap book before. Plan on starting with a family tree and then baby pictures of Mom and Dad. From there I'm at a loss. They didn't take a lot of pictures except pictures with Santa Claus and first day of school. Do you have any ideas of what I can do? Thanks in advance for any help! Hi Tammy! That's a great question! It can be really overwhelming to start a scrapbook for the first time. But have no fear - it's a lot easier than you think! Scrapbooks don't have to be overflowing with photos. Sometimes the best pages don't include a photo at all. Starting with baby pictures and a family tree is a really great idea. From there, look at what you already have (ie - letters, memorabilia, newspaper articles, etc) and add those to your pages. Also, if you're able, contact siblings, relatives, family friends, anyone that knows your parents and have them jot down some memories to put into the book. Those will really mean a lot to them. As far as your album goes, an 8x8 scrapbook is a lot less intimidating than a 12x12, so that might be a good option for you. Otherwise, we recommend checking out the We R Memory Keeper hybrid album system. Hope this helps!
