Is laminating a good way to preserve photos, newspaper articles, cards, etc., for a scrapbook?

If the photos and articles you're preserving are going to be passed around a lot, laminating might be a good idea. However, we do not have a lot of experience with laminating, so you'll want to make sure that it is photo-safe and acid-free, otherwise it could damage your pieces in the future. The plastic sleeves in scrapbook albums do protect photos, articles, and cards from the elements as well. Just make sure you're using photo-safe, acid-free adhesives, papers, embellishments, and sleeves in your scrapbooks and you should be just fine! Hope this helps!
