What are the do's and don'ts of stamping. There are times I want to scream because it flops or smears, uneven u name it. Diane

We have a couple of tips that work pretty well for stamping. The first, "you're not a rock star". When stamping, you want to stamp straight down and come straight up. Don't rock and roll your stamp around. Give it firm, even pressure, but don't rock the stamp back and forth. You might end up with an uneven image or with extra ink spots that you don't want. The second, "don't gorilla your stamp". You definitely want to press firmly down on your stamp, but you don't have to use extreme force. Rubber stamps (think wood block) don't have as much give as a clear stamp. You can press a bit harder with a rubber stamp, but be careful with the clear stamps. Clear stamps are a bit squishy and have more give. Check out the video for more great tips on using clear stamps. Stamping can take a bit of practice, so don't give up! Hope this helps!
