I now want to dabble with fabric as well paper. I have a original Cricut and a Cuttlebug (neither are good for layers of fabric). The Accucut system cannot use the variety of dies. So, it boils down to the Big Shot or the Big Shot Pro? I really wish there there were an in-between size. Is the Big Shot's feeder wider than the Cuttlebug's? Ideally I would like a feeder about 9" wide. Any suggestions as to what cutter may work? Sally

The Big Shot and the Cuttlebug both have 6" wide openings. The Big Shot Pro has a 12" opening and is the only machine the Bigz Pro dies can be used with, but you can use smaller dies with this machine. We love the Big Shot and use it quite often, however it really is a matter of personal preference and what you need for your crafting projects. When using thicker materials, such as fabric, you'll also want to think about the thickness of the dies you're using. The Sizzlit and QuicKutz dies might be too thin to cut through fabric. The Bigz dies (the thicker ones) work great with thicker materials such as chipboard, grungeboard, and even fabric. Hope this helps!
