Great for scrapbooking, card-making, home décor projects, school projects, and much more—there are so many things you can do with this machine!
Here’s how it works!
1. Adhere paper to sticky cutting mat and load into the machine.
On your computer, open the Silhouette SD software (included with machine). Select the image you want to use from your library and use the software to adjust the position and size of the image. If you’d like to cut out words, simply type them, using any True Type font on your computer.
If your Silhouette SD is hooked up directly to your computer, click on the “controller” icon in the software and the machine will begin cutting.
If you want to take your Silhouette SD with you to a crop, save your prepared images to an SD card. Once you’re ready to cut, insert the SD card into the machine, select the image, and press “enter” to begin cutting.
4. Remove the cut-out image from the sticky mat (use the QuicKutz scraper tool if you need help!) and it’s ready to go on your project!
